applications from eligible candidates for the above test to award Junior
Research Fellowship and Lectureship.

UGC NET a brief description
University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts every year National Educational Testing (NET) in Social Sciences, Languages
and in many subjects to grant Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship.
There are total 94 subjects in it. Candidates
selected for Lectureship will be eligible for lecturer and Assistant Professor
Jobs in various degree colleges and Universities. Besides that they get
fellowship to do M.Phil. and Ph.D. Courses. Candidates qualifying for the award
of JRF will be eligible for Fellowship of UGC. The validity period for this JRF
award letter is 2 years.
Age Limit: 28 years for JRF, no age limit for Lectureship
Educational Qualifications: post graduation or equivalent with not less
than 55% marks.
How to apply: Candidates eligible and willing to apply
required to apply online only through the website: www.ugcnetonline.in on or
before the closing date 30th April, 2012. After applying
online the candidates have to take a system generated application form and send
it to The Registrar
of the University (UGC Test Centre) so as to reach on or before 7th May, 2012.
